Study: Women Are Better Negotiators

Men or women? Who do you think do best in business negotiations? Women do. According to a researcher at Tel Aviv University, women are skilled more than men in terms of business negotiations. A simulation of business negotiations had been conducted over 554 U.S and Israeli management students at Ohio State University in NY and Israel. Results find women as generous negotiators and that they are more cooperative and motivated in building a win-win situation. The researcher also found results such that women are better facilitators in terms of interactions. It has been discovered as well that men are starting to make use of feminine strategies in negotiating. “Women in mid-management positions are criticized for being too ‘cooperative’ and ‘compassionate,’ so they don’t get promoted,” researcher said. “Then men come in and use the same tactics women are criticized for.” Women or men, if you got the skill, gender won’t be an issue. However, this research proves that women can somehow do better than men.

Jamie Lynn Names Baby After Book Character

June 19, 2008, the day when the 17 year old Jamie Lynn’s first baby girl was born. Finally, the newborn angel now has a name and it was taken from her mother’s favorite children’s book series. Speaking of children’s book, well, almost everyone knows about the “Madeline Book” and yeah, Jamie named her first child Maddie Briann, named after Madeline, the main character in the book. Accordingly, Jamie Lynn was fascinated with this classical children’s book which inspires her to name her first baby after Madeline. Ever since Jamie was a little girl, she became a fan of this children’s book and that one day, when she will have her own baby girl, she’ll name it after the main character, which finally came true. Jamie Lynn Spears, pregnant at 16, has been condemned by many because of her pregnancy at her very young age, and now, finally the baby is born. Hopefully the wedding ceremony will follow. Congratulations to your new and first baby Jamie!

Justin Timberlake Confesses Suffering From OCD and ADD

Pop singer Justin Timberlake admitted that he is suffering from OCD and ADD. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a kind of psychiatric anxiety disorder where one becomes obsessive in thoughts, rituals or compulsions. Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) is a developmental disorder where one complains for distractibility, forgetfulness and hyperactivity. Timberlake confessed that the condition has been affecting his daily life and even getting to the point of making sure that things are lined up well. “I have OCD mixed with ADD. You try living with that. It’s complicated.” Justin said in a statement. He also admitted that he’s getting addicted on performing live! It was been reported earlier that Justin and Jessica Biel had been arguing over fridge contents. Whew! Why not just buy their own separate fridge! That’s it, end of problem! Well, it would be up to Justin if he would want to continue suffering those conditions. Still he got an option, live with it or have a treatment.

Fit for Halloween

I don’t know what it is about Halloween. But haven’t you noticed that normally sane people (yeah, that includes you) suddenly ignore common sense and abandon all sense of dignity when it comes to Halloween costumes?

The Halloween costumes of today can be nothing but inventions of bored people. We live in a society where everything has been “sanitized”. It’s no wonder we are so bored we are on the constant look out for things like Halloween costumes that can break the monotony – at least for a little while.

Anyway, Halloween costumes used to be “wholesome fun.” Now, they are EVERYTHING BUT – or is it EVERYTHING BUTT?

For you see, if you appear in a Halloween costume from Costume Cauldron, you’d better be prepared to become the cynosure of all eyes and the BUTT of every joke. The costumes they have on offer are ALL amazing, incredible and marvelous – that is, amazingly stupid that you can only marvel at the costumes that show incredibly poor taste. You don’t believe me? Visit the store and see for yourself how far the human species has regressed down the evolutionary ladder.

Look at the Bodystocking Fishnet V-back, for instance. What’s the matter with you people? What if it has a v-back? It doesn’t have much of anything other than a v-back. I didn’t know Halloween is for showcasing “the wares” and looking like whores. The costume is definitely scary, though, so maybe that is why this has been awarded the dubious honor of being a Halloween costume?

Then there’s the Big Daddy Pimp costume. I mean, come on!!! Do pimps really wear that? And why exactly would anyone – even a pimp – want to look like a pimp on Halloween? I tell you, human beings are doomed.

So, would I buy something as tacky as the costumes at Costume Cauldron? I’m bored and I’m definitely in need of cheering up, so the answer is – Yup, I certainly am!

Amy Winehouse Has Emphysema

Amy Winehouse has been reportedly rushed to the hospital when she suddenly fainted and now Doctors claimed that she has emphysema and warned that it will cost her life if she continues her smoking habit. She had developed emphysema, a lung condition that lets the victim suffers breathing problems. Accordingly, Amy got a 70% lung capacity which should not be taken for granted or else, she’ll lose everything. Mitch, Amy’s father, said “If she doesn’t go back to drugs, then she can lead this magnificent life, “We are praying that it’s also what Amy really wants. She seems resolute.” Mitch even requested the drug dealers to refuse supplying drugs to his daughter for her recovery. The soul singer has won 5 Grammy Awards last February which means somehow she’s doing good in her career, but now, she got the illness. She needs proper treatment and should realize the dangers of her condition.
